Ok so most of you think life is only good for healing, no? Well I'm a life wizard and I'm not your typical "heal like a noob" kind of life. No, I'm an attacker and occassionly use heals if I feel its needed but otherwise I won't heal very often.
Those who heal almost every round can stay alive longer but it will eventually be countered. Also another good techinque is defense. Use a few shields to slow down your oppenent from attacking you too hard. While your oppenent is trying to break your shields, try setting up for an attack and getting full pips so if you do get hit hard, you can heal yourself, then attack. Make sure to have at least a few entangled or infection spells in deck to keep your oppenent's health low. Wasting pips won't do you any good because your oppenent will have some free shots while your waiting for pips.
Another life's key for PvP is Earthquake, especially if you have the Myth Amulet. Earthquake is good for breaking shields that are constantly used. Using an attack right after earthquake will give you a huge advantage over your oppenent.
One more thing is don't even try using Guardian Spirit in PvP anymore. At first it was cool but now it just a waste of pips and others can steal it as a charm.
